The most agile distribution network in the UK.

The twists and turns of lockdown living in London continue to serve up new challenges and today we find ourselves moving into Tier Two of the government categories for restrictions in the UK.

While we are all busy changing our plans and checking the weather forecast to see if we will be able to meet up outside we are well prepared at the Evening Standard for today’s announcement.

Back in March we galvanised the troops and worked on finding the best solution to the rapid changes we were all experiencing. In record time we introduced our home delivery network and over the following weeks worked on perfecting the art of getting our newspaper to our readers alongside the growth of our digital traffic.

We committed to delivering 500,000 copies a day and as the ABC numbers show we have repeatedly hit that target. Our teams are working in areas selected using multiple data points including census and mapping details that allow us to be in the most efficient areas for us and for our advertisers.

Throughout the last few months we have been continually monitoring the behavioural changes in London and frequently adapted to meet the needs of our readers. As commuter traffic rebuilt we up-weighted on the transport network and as the effects of the most recent changes take hold we will keep adapting and refining.

As the only quality title with the ability to adapt in this way we not fazed by the changes as we know we have the most agile distribution network out there.

And if you need to know what Tier Two means for you – we have all the information you need here
