On Monday 24 June, The Independent's Christian Broughton and Harriet Hall hosted an interactive session at MediaCom's Transformation Week, answering the question: "How is the role of media brands changing in a fragmenting political and social world?"

They gave the audience the opportunity to lead the conversation, choosing from a range of trending topics including Fast Fashion, Love Island, Trump, Veganism and Independent Women. Christian and Harriet explained the editorial process behind each topic and how they approach every story in the mindset of the Independently-Minded audience.
